Helping mentor groups to help our kids

The Hunter Youth Mentor Collaborative (HYMC) is an umbrella organisation for groups providing youth mentoring programs. We help develop, support and promote the growth of mentoring programs through monthly networking meetings and special forums; providing funding for special projects; and advocating on behalf of mentoring groups.

We do not run mentoring programs or recruit mentors per se. Our members run programs. CLICK HERE to contact local mentoring groups.

We meet on the first Tuesday of every second month from 12.30-1.30pm at the Hunter Business Chamber Conference Room , Selwyn StreeMayfield. Our next meeting is February 3.

We hold at least one Mentoring Forum per year in partnership with Youth Mentoring Network. HYMC also offers Educational Scholarships to young people being supported by its members to help them to continue with their education and training.
