Guest Speakers: Staff from Hunter Youth Health Team, Kaleidoscope, Hunter Children’s Health Network

Topic: Engaging youth to take care of their health needs and connecting them to health services

Tracey Finn and her team provide a range of health services for young people from their centre at 621 Hunter Street Newcastle. The team includes Community based Nurses, Social Workers and Staff Specialist Adolescent Physician who see young people who are at risk of poor health outcomes and require assistance with linking to appropriate services.

This is one of the key areas of interest identified by members.
